Leesburg drivers: Police report that Loudoun Street is shut down between Harrison Street and South King Street due to a fire. This stretch of Loudoun Street houses the Loudoun County Government Center. For alternate routes, try Market Street/Edwards Ferry Road to the north or Catoctin Circle to the south.
MARC Camden Line train 840 is also 10 to 12 minutes behind schedule because it is behind a freight train.

There was briefly a disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at River Road, but it was already cleared.
Westbound Rhode Island Avenue remains closed at South Dakota Avenue NE. As a result, Metrobuses on routes 82, 83, 84, 86 and T18 are going to skip the stops at Rhode Island Avenue and Thayer Street NE and at Rhode Island Avenue and 20th Street NE. Metro says riders should board those buses on 18th Street or South Dakota Avenue.
MARC Brunswick Line train 892 is approaching Boyds about 10 to 12 minutes late due to freight train interference, the Maryland Transit Administration reports.

MARC Camden Line train 841 is running 20 minutes behind due to a disabled freight train blocking the track. The freight train, which was near Baltimore, has been cleared and shouldn’t cause additional delays, according to the Maryland Transit Administration.
