Original Post: Snow is expected to fall across the Washington region on Friday afternoon and early evening, which could severely impact the commute.

This could create major problems for commuters across the area. Watch for slick roadways, icy station platforms and escalators, limited visibility and heavy delays.
Try to avoid traveling during the snow period. Leave work early if you can. If you must drive during the snowy window, make sure to slow down, use your headlights and be very cautious.
We’ll be keeping an eye on the snowfall and its impact on traveling. Check back in with Dr. Gridlock for the latest.
• Multiple school districts in the region have announced early dismissals.
