Red line delays on Metro due to disabled train

Update, 8:13 a.m.:

The disabled Red line train has been removed from the tracks and trains are no longer single-tracking. Residual delays remain.

Original post, 8:01 a.m.:

Metro is reporting significant train and bus delays this morning.

Red line trains are facing 25- to 30-minute delays in both directions due to a disabled train near the Bethesda station. Trains are single-tracking.

Additionally, L8 buses to Friendship Heights are facing delays up to 25 minutes due to an accident on Connecticut Avenue, near Bradley Lane, in Montgomery County.
