Two people injured in Prince George’s County crash

At least two people were critically injured in a crash possibly related to weather in the Glenn Dale area of Prince George’s County Monday morning, authorities said.

The incident occurred about 8 a.m. in the 10800 block of Lanham Severn Road, just past Greenbelt Road and the Eastgate Shopping Center, said Mark Brady, a Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department spokesman. He said police and firefighters were still sorting out the details, but the crash involved at least two vehicles, and at least two people were being given CPR on the way to area hospitals.

Brady said emergency responders believe the crash may have been connected to weather — the most serious in a number of snow-related incidents Monday morning. He said firefighters had “been busy with crashes wires down, slips and falls, things of that nature,” especially in the northern section of Prince George’s County.
