Blue and Yellow Metro trains in Va. delayed due to signal problem

Update, 11:16 a.m.:

Normal service has resumed on the Blue and Yellow lines after more than three hours of delays, Metro officials said.

Original post, 8:15 a.m.:

Blue and Yellow line trains are experiencing delays in both directions this morning due to a signal problem at the Van Dorn Metro station in Alexandria, Metro officials said.

Riders can expect delays of up to 20 minutes on Blue Line trains from Franconia to Van Dorn. Additional trains are running to and from Huntington, and riders are encouraged to use Huntington as an alternate stop.
