Red Line trains could be delayed due to weather [UPDATED]

4:30 p.m. Update:

The Red Line speed restrictions have been lifted, according to Metro.

Earlier: 

Metro warns riders that Red Line trains could run at reduced speeds due to severe weather in the area, which may lead to delays for these trains. Based on forecasts and warnings as of 4 p.m., such restrictions weren’t expected for other lines, said Metro spokesman Dan Stessel.
