Roads awash, but flights are taking off

Even as many roadways are awash due to heavy rainfall Thursday morning, flights are continuing on schedule at the region’s three major airports. But weather is causing flight delays for planes flying into Philadelphia from other areas.

With highway traffic slowed and numerous accidents reported, people headed for the airports should expect their big delays Thursday morning on the trip from their front door to the airport.
