Crash snarling I-95 South in Va.

11:34 A.M. Update:

An accident on Interstate 95 is blocking multiple southbound lanes in Prince William County. A tractor trailer loaded with industrial adhesives overturned on the jersey wall in Dale City, according to the Virginia State Police.

The police warn that the clean-up will take several hours, so drivers should expect delays approaching this area to last into the afternoon. The tractor trailer’s driver was not injured, and the crash is under investigation, according to the police.

Earlier:

A crash on Interstate 95 blocked all southbound lanes just south of the Capital Beltway in Virginia on Wednesday morning, creating major delays. Two lanes reopened shortly before 8 a.m., with all lanes reopening before 8:15 a.m. The delays lingered until about 9 a.m.
