The body of a man believed to be in his 30s has been found inside the Judiciary Square Metro station, a Metro spokesman said Wednesday.
Philip Stewart said at approximately 2:45 p.m. officials received a report of a body behind the parapet wall on the Shady Grove platform level. Officials from D.C. Fire and Emergency Services as well as Metro Transit police responded to the call. When they arrived they found an adult male, believed to be in his 30s. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Stewart said officials do not yet know the circumstances of his death or how his body came to be at the station. However, Metro Transit Police tweeted that there are “no signs of foul play.”
