Metro riders should expect delays on the Red, Blue and Yellow lines Thursday because of several problems.

As of 7 a.m., there were delays on the Red Line in the direction of Shady Grove as the result of a disabled train at Brookland.

At the same time, delays were reported on the Blue and Yellow lines in the direction of Largo Town Center and Mount Vernon Square because of an earlier issue that involved a train malfunction at Crystal City.

An earlier track problem at the Medical Center stop caused trains to share a track between Grosvenor and Van Ness stops. That problem was resolved, but expect residual delays.
