Metro said normal service has resumed at Arlington Cemetery. But problems have cropped up on the Green and Yellow lines.
Riders on Green and Yellow lines should expect residual delays to Greenbelt and Mt. Vernon Square because of an earlier train malfunction at L’Enfant Plaza stop.

Another delay Wednesday morning for Metro riders. This time on the Blue Line headed to Largo Town Center because of an earlier train malfunction at Arlington Cemetery.

Metro said normal service has resumed at Shady Grove after an earlier issue with a signal.

Metro said residual delays continue on its busy Red Line in both directions because of an earlier signal problem at the Shady Grove stop.

Metro’s Orange Line has also had delays Wednesday morning but they were quickly resolved.
The problem was reported at 8:02 a.m. and involved an earlier train malfunction at Dunn Loring stop. It was resolved by 8:15 a.m.

Normal service is back for Metro riders on the Blue Line, but delays continue on the Red Line because of two problems.
There are residual delays for commuters headed to Glenmont because of a train malfunction outside of the Rhode Island Avenue station. That problem come on top of an earlier issue with a signal at Shady Grove.

Riders on the Blue Line should expect delays Wednesday morning in both directions because of a signal problem at Largo Town Center.
A separate signal problem has been causing delays for riders in both directions on the busy Red Line since earlier this morning.
For commuters, the troubles come after a second morning of troubles on the rail system in brutally cold temperatures.
