Delays on Metro’s Red Line, earlier issues on Blue and Orange lines resolved

Metro said riders should still expect some possible delays because of earlier problems with a train that malfunctioned at Union Station.

Metro said trains are no longer delayed as of 8:03 a.m. on the Red Line after an earlier switch problem outside of Union Station.

Trains are no longer delayed along the Blue and Orange lines after an earlier train malfunction at the Rosslyn station.

Metro riders on the Orange and Blue lines should expect delays Thursday morning. This comes on top of delays on the busy Red Line.

The problem on the Blue and Orange lines stems from an earlier train malfunction at the Rosslyn stop, Metro said. Delays are in the direction of Vienna and Franconia.
