Wanted: D.C. streetcar operators

Streetcars are coming to D.C. — and so are job opportunities.

The D.C. Department of Transportation, streetcar operator RDMT, and Midtown Personnel are hosting a job fair, Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Department of Employment Services (DOES) headquarters, located at 4058 Minnesota Ave NE.

RDMT is interested in hiring people to be:

• Maintenance Technicians

• Material Handlers

• Service Attendants

• Streetcar Operators

NOTE:  The Minnesota Avenue Metro station on the Orange Line, is the closest metro station. Buses running near the office include: the U2, U5, U6, U8, V7, X1, X2, X3 and X9.
