Charles County bus system makes weather-related service changes

VanGO, the transit system in Charles County, will shut down by 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Buses, which regularly run until 10 p.m., will stop service earlier because of the weather conditions, county officials said.

“The last departures from the Waldorf transfer point will be at 5 p.m. with the exception of the Business A and B routes, which will end at 4:30 p.m.,” a county advisory said.  “The last departure from the La Plata Transfer Point will be at 4:30 p.m. with the exception of Nanjemoy route, which will depart at 5:30 p.m. for requested drop-offs only.”

For more information commuters can call the VanGO Inclement Weather Hotline at 301-934-9305, ext. 5179.
