Snow prompts Metro to curtail bus service

Metro announced it would limit bus service to snow-emergency routes beginning at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and said it could suspend all bus service as the weather continues to worsen in the Washington area.

Rail service continues to run on a regular weekday schedule, the transit agency said, although service could be reduced Tuesday night because of deteriorating weather and reduced ridership.
