What are your snow day child care strategies?

Another day, another storm. And for many working parents, it’s another day of scrambling to find care for their children.

Some of us are scrambling too.

The D.C. region is filled with clever people, so we thought we’d pose this question: what are your strategies for pulling together emergency child care arrangements? Neighbors? Friends? We don’t want to steal all your secrets, but if you have a system or advice for others around the region who find themselves scrambling, we’d love to hear it.

Similarly, if you’ve got advice for keeping sane during multiple days of school closures (places to go, people to see) — we’d love to hear that too.

In the spirit of Facebook’s 10th anniversary this week –– share!

Lori Aratani writes about how people live, work and play in the D.C. region for The Post’s Transportation and Development team.
