Two accidents partially close northbound I-95 in Triangle

Two accidents near the Triangle exit of I-95 closed northbound lanes on Monday morning.

The crashes were reported to state police at 5:02 a.m., and the right lane was open again by 5:25, a dispatcher said. She said that traffic was moving slowly south of the accidents.

State police had not determined what caused the two accidents, whether they were linked, how many cars were involved or whether anyone was injured. Prince William County police said that they had sent rescue vehicles.
