Delays on Metro’s Orange Line

Updated at 8:16 a.m.

Normal service has resumed on the Orange Line at the Deanwood station, according to Metro.

Original post at 7:38 a.m.

Metro riders on the Orange Line should expect delays Friday morning.

The delays are residual, Metro said, and are due to an earlier train malfunction at the Deanwood stop.

There were also earlier problems on Metro’s Red Line.

Those delays were in the direction of Shady Grove and were because of train malfunction at the Silver Spring station. That situation has been resolved.
