Randolph Road has reopened after an earlier accident involving a pedestrian.
Police shut down the westbound lanes of Randolph Road in Silver Spring near John F. Kennedy High School on Tuesday as to investigate an early morning accident that involved a pedestrian.
Montgomery County Police said they received a call around 5:10 a.m. for a report of a pedestrian struck by a bus. They did not immediately provide further details on the condition of the person or circumstances of the crash near Randolph Road and Middlevale Lane.
During the morning rush hour, police said, the westbound lanes of Randolph Road near the scene will be closed, and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
