Southbound I-95 closed in Fairfax County

Drivers should expect delays on Interstate 95 near Exit 167 in Fairfax County.

Virginia State Police shut down all southbound lanes of the highway near Backlick Road around 10 a.m. because a dump truck caught fire. One lane is now open, authorities said.

Sgt. Thomas Ingham of the Virginia State Police said the truck had an oil leak that investigators believe ignited a blaze. The driver, he said, was not injured.

Ingham said one lane of the highway is open while crews clean up debris. The remaining three lanes are expected to open shortly.
