Delays resolved on Metro’s Orange and Blue lines

Metro said normal service has resumed on the Orange and Blue lines.

Metro riders, if you feel like you’re having déjà vu, it’s because you are.

Trains to the Vienna and Franconia-Springfield stations on the Orange and Blue lines are delayed Wednesday morning because of an earlier train malfunction at Stadium-Armory station.

Orange and Blue line trains were delayed Tuesday morning from the same stations for a train malfunction also at Stadium-Armory station. Tuesday’s delays began around 9 a.m. and normal service resumed by 9:45 a.m.
