Update: I-66 on-ramp re-opens on Prince William Parkway after crash

A portion of Prince William Parkway near the Interstate 66 ramp reopened after a three-car accident.

Police closed the parkway’s I-66 East ramp because of the 6:10 a.m. crash, which injured at least one driver. Authorities had said motorists should expect delays Monday morning.

Officers rerouted parkway traffic to Balls Ford Road in Manassas. At first, both ramps were closed, but the I-66 ramp onto the parkway reopened about 8 a.m.

A police department spokesman said both ramps are now open.
