Single-tracking on Metro’s Orange and Silver lines

A Metro spokesman said officials are inspecting the track and do not expect significant delays.

Metro riders in Virginia can expect delays Friday morning on the Orange and Silver lines due to single-tracking trains.

Trains are single-tracking between the East Falls Church and Ballston stations because of a track problem outside Ballston, according to Metro.

Delays are occurring in both directions.
