Following a wild opening weekend of games, there was plenty of movement in the second Associated Press Top 25 poll of the 2011 NCAA football season.

Oklahoma held its top spot after an impressive 47-14 thrashing of Tulsa, but the rest of the top 10 shifted considerably.

LSU jumped from No. 4 to No. 2 after dismantling Oregon , which fell from No. 3 to No. 13. Alabama moved down one spot to No. 3, despite rolling over Kent State. Boise State moved up a rung to No. 4 after handling Georgia in prime time on Saturday night, and Florida State rounded out the top five.

Stanford (6), Texas A&M (7) and Wisconsin (8) each moved up while Oklahoma State and Nebraska held their places at the back end of top 10.

Four new teams — No. 20 Baylor, No. 22 South Florida, No. 23 Penn State and No. 24 Texas — entered the rankings while Notre Dame (16), Georgia (19), Auburn (23) and USC (25) all fell out of the poll.

Notre Dame fell 23-20 at home in a game that featured multiple weather delays while defending BCS champions Auburn had to rally in the final minutes to edge Utah State 42-38.
