‘Dancing with the Stars’ voters boot Metta World Peace at first chance

Viewers and judges on “Dancing with the Stars” said “Peace out” to Metta World Peace, the NBA player formerly known as Ron Artest, by voting him out of the competition at the very first opportunity.

It isn’t really an upset for the ages, given that he and his partner scored all of 14 points Monday night and his dancing was described as “atrocious” by one judge. (In retrospect, the Rodman homage wasn’t the way to go right out of the gate.)

From the jockocracy, only Hope Solo, goalie for the U.S. women’s soccer team remains along with Rob Kardashian, Kristin Cavallari, Nancy Grace, Carson Kressley, Ricki Lake, David Arquette and Chaz Bono.
