Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on trade for Kevin Kolb: ‘Whatever happens happens’

July 25, 2011

With the NFL about to go to a warp speed version of Supermarket Sweep, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie of the Arizona Cardinals was asked on a Philadelphia radio show about the possibility of playing for the Eagles and said, “It don’t matter to me.”

Hmmm. Reports out of Philly indicate that a trade involving him and Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb was agreed upon in late April, when the lockout was briefly lifted. But Rodgers-Cromartie wasn’t saying anything today.

“A lot of people been hitting me up,” he said on WIP. “I’m just playing it by ear. Whatever happens, happens.”

There are other possible destinations for Kolb when teams are free to make moves, but Philly seems most likely.
