Former NHL player Joe Sakic hits a $1-million hole-in-one in Lake Tahoe tourney

Joe Sakic, former Colorado Avalanche player, was the guy not named Tom Watson or Dustin Johnson who hit a hole-in-one over the weekend.

Talk about putting the biscuit in the basket. Sakic earned $1 million for acing the 162-yard, par-3 17th hole during the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship on Sunday at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Lake Tahoe.

“That’s a shot you never imagine hitting,” Sakic said, via USA Today. “I've never even been close before. If you're going to do it, why not here?” Sakic reportedly will give half the money to Lance Armstrong's Livestrong Foundation.
