Giants vs. 49ers: NFC Championship game gets a classic look

The weather for the NFC Championship game at Candlestick Park in San Francisco will be as promised: extremely wet, windy and mild.

If the New York Giants beat the 49ers and advance to Super Bowl XLVI, they can superstition will have played a significant role. If the 49ers advance, well, there was a 50-50 chance that one of the Harbaugh brothers would be coaching Feb. 5.

Now, if they can just keep the lights on ...
