Hope Solo, the naked netminder? Judging by her Twitter feed, she will appear in the next “body issue” of ESPN The Magazine, an annual nude celebation of the athletic physique.
(How most many Hope Solo fans read that paragraph: Hope Solo, blah naked blah? Blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah body blah blah ESPN blah blah, blah blah nude blah blah blah blah blah.)
Solo has been busy since the Women’s World Cup ended, telling Jordan Schultz of the Huffington Post: “I flew to LA when most people went home, and I did the media circuit there. I think that's our responsibility; I need to keep the awareness of the game out there, but I also need to thank our fans.”
And what better way than joining past nudists like Serena Williams, Adrian Peterson, Dwight Howard in the body issue? Solo hinted as much with a tweet and a tweet that included the photo above with “And that’s a wrap!”
