Mourners continued to line up this morning for a second day of a public viewing for former Penn State coach Joe Paterno in State College, Pa.
Roughly 10,000 mourners paid their respects Tuesday to Paterno, who died Sunday at 85. After a private funeral at noon today at the campus spiritual center, he will be buried and nearly 6,000 people have signed up on Facebook to line the funeral route leading to the cemetery.
“Let’s make a human chain of students, teachers, players, etc. all the way to guide Joe home,” the Facebook page says (via Pennlive.com).
A public memorial service will be held Thursday in the basketball arena next to Beaver Stadium.
