LeBron James courts Steve Nash, Jamal Crawford on Twitter

Miami Heat player/general manager LeBron James is ready to make some moves again.

With the NBA lockout edging closer to an end, James, perhaps a little bored after withdrawing from the “World All-Star Classic,” turned his attention today to expanding the Heat from the thrilling three to the fantastic four.

On Twitter, he was eyeing Steve Nash. And Jamal Crawford.

Maybe @SteveNash in a Heat uni! So we can help each other get our 1st ringThu Oct 27 18:32:39 via Echofon

Would love to see @JCrossover in a Heat uni! What u guys say?Thu Oct 27 18:27:29 via Echofon

In fairness to LeBron, the Miami Heat could use a point guard, someone to feed James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. It should also be pointed out that perhaps he wasn’t entirely serious. Still, you have to wonder if he isn’t up to something.

Of course, nothing can happen until the lockout ends and, with the usual rules suspended, James isn’t tampering (tweepering?). It doesn’t seem likely that James hasn’t considered that the only way a deal for Nash is doable is if he, Wade or Bosh goes to Phoenix. Perhaps he’s thinking that the Suns could buy out Nash’s contract ($11.7 million this season) after the lockout. Hmmmm....

Just take everybody, LeBron.
