LSU vs. Alabama is one tough ticket

The game is almost here. Can you taste it? Yes, it’s supposed to taste a little grassy. (Andrew J. Cohoon - AP)
If you’re looking to snag a last-second ticket to the biggest game of the year (or decade if you’re buying into the media hype), you may be in luck.

Popular ticket re-sale website Stubhub.com is offering tickets to Saturday’s LSU-Alabama tilt for only $50!!!

Oh...wait...that’s for a parking pass...in the Medical Center reserved lot. But $50 is a steal nonetheless — those babies are going for up to $175 apiece!

The lowest prices for seats inside the stadium are just over $400 and run all the way up to $1,028 for 49th row seats on the 50-yard-line. On the independent website field-tickets.com, you can grab a pair or seats in section SS-9 for $350.

It’s No. 1 vs. No. 2. This is a huge game, folks.

From the ramifications surrounding Saturday’s result right down to the perceived pompous or grass-eating buffoon personas of the coaches on the sideline, LSU-Alabama has enough storylines to make Lee Corso’s head (Tiger or Elephant?) spin.

A spot in the BCS title game is likely on the line — although the debate over whether the loser could still make it will begin the second the final whistle sounds — along with SEC supremacy, the top spot in the polls and the all-important bragging rights.

Kickoff is less than 27 hours away. So who ya got?
