Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley strips; Flamengo coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo offended by flatulence

But stripping down to your skivvies and dancing around like a maniac in a Chinese restaurant might be taking things a bit too far. It’s still early, yet!

No matter, Magpies owner Mike Ashley just couldn’t contain his enthusiasm when “You Can Leave Your Hat On” — the song made famous in the movie “The Full Monty” — came on. Moments later, Ashley’s clothes were coming off. (We’ll spare you the photos here, but if your interest is piqued, Dirty Tackle has the full spread).

The 48-year-old billionaire stripped down to his socks and underwear (and had a bit of fun with his belt to boot) at a 40th birthday party for a co-worker.

Ashley reportedly paid £2,000 ($3,228) to book the restaurant in Mansfield, Notts.

In other moderately absurd international club soccer news, Flamengo coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo is not feeling Ashley’s good vibes across the Atlantic Ocean in Brazil.

After dropping six straight matches, not even some well-timed flatulence could lighten the mood during a recent team training session.

According to an account in Globo, a loud noise emanating from one of the Flamengo players sparked a few giggles, to which Luxemburgo shouted: “This is a lack of respect!”

He then demanded to know the identity of the culprit. Two days after the incident, the case remains an unsolved mystery.
