Atlanta Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson has drawn the attention of the NFL for his hit on Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin in the Falcons’ victory Sunday night.

The hit drew a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness in-game, but Robinson is a repeat offender who was fined $50,000 last year for a hit that left Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson and Robinson with concussions. The amount of the fine was later reduced to $25,000 upon appeal.

Although the NFL, which cracked down on flagrant, dangerous hits last season, has not suspended anyone, it has said that that is a possibility for repeat offenders and Robinson may well be the first.
