Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White is expectd to play despite a quadriceps injury.

October is breast cancer awareness month and, if Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, scores, “I will do a special salute to my Mom & all women we have lost in the fight w/ Breast Cancer if I am fortunate enough to score.FFF”

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Lee Evans will miss tonight’s game against the New York Jets. For the Jets, center Nick Mangold will be a gametime decision.

New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck is not expected to play today against the Cardinals. Defensive end Osi Umenyiora is expected to play for the first time this season; he underwent knee surgery just before the opener.

Eagles quarterback Mike Vick wore a glove in practice this week, protecting his bruised right (non-throwing) hand. Vince Young will back him up and it’s worth noting that Vick has not finished the last two games..

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will start today, despite the thigh contusion he suffered Monday against the Washington Redskins. With Miles Austin out, Laurent Robinson moved ahead of Kevin Ogleree and will sart at the other receiver spot.

Quarterback Tony Romo will get another injection to numb the pain in his broken rib. Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh says he isn’t targeting Romo or The Rib, but thing, you know, can happen.

“There isn’t going to be any FBI half-target on him,” Suh said (via 101sports.com). “But I am on his right side, as everybody wants to point out. I am coming at him from that side. If I accidentally hit [the broken rib], so be it. It’s not my problem, not my issue to deal with. I just go for the ball because that’s the only thing that can hurt you.

“I am 307 pounds. I am pretty sure if I land on you with all my weight, you are going to feel it.”

Think Adrian Peterson will get the ball in the second half this week?

In St. Louis, the Redskins are wearing white jerseys and burgundy pants for the first time this season. This is going to freak some people out. Running back Steven Jackson (quad) will start for the Rams.
