Week 7 brings a dizzying change of starting quarterbacks:
Tim Tebow starts for Denver in Miami, which is in a state in which he has had some success. You may have heard something about this on the week’s TV entertainment and sports programming networks;
Donovan McNabb has been benched in favor of Christian Ponder for Minnesota’s game against Green Bay (congrats, rookie);
Charlie Whitehurst took most of the reps with Seattle’s first team with Tarvaris Jackson nursing a pectoral injury;
Sam Bradford has a high ankle sprain; A.J. Feeley will start against Dallas;
You may also have heard that the Redskins will switch today to John Beck, giving him his first start in four years in Carolina;
With the injury to hard-luck Jason Campbell, there’ll be a different starting QB in Oakland. It’s morely likely to be Kyle Boller than the newly acquired Carson Palmer.
The Vikings will be without cornerback Chris Cook after his arrest early Saturday morning. Cook, who is from Lynchburd, Va., is in Hennepin County jail on charges of felony domestic assault/strangulation and fifth-degree domestic assault. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday morning.
