Think Jim Harbaugh and Jim Schwartz were a little intense Sunday? Well, they had nothing on Sean Payton.

The New Orlans Saints coach continued to do his job after suffering a torn medial collateral ligament and broken tibia in the first quarter of the Saints’ 26-20 loss to the Bucs in Tampa.

Payton, who was hurt when tight end Jimmy Graham was pushed into him on a tackle, will undergo surgery Monday, according to Nola.com.

Payton was helped to the bench and sat there, headset on, with players making way for him to see the field until he was carted off shortly before the end of the half.
