It’s been kinda quiet on the Tim Tebow news beat lately, with only the archbishop of New York tweeting about him, and “Good Morning America” running a Mother’s Day feature on him, and his red-carpet appearance at the Met gala this week, and “Hard Knocks” continuing to woo the New York Jets.
Into this seeming void steps an actual in-the-locker-room session with Tebow, the Jets and the guy who’s, you know, the startng quarterback for the team, Mark Sanchez. All was cool between Tebow, brought on as a backup, and the starter.

Mark Sanchez isn’t sick of Tebow questions but admits “it’s only May.”

“I'm not sick of the [Tebow] questions, but it's only May,” Sanchez said (via NFL.com).
And Tebow? Well, he’s excited to be in exciting New York with the exciting Jets, for whom he’ll also play on special teams and in the wildcat formation. Tebow allowed that he’s only been working out as a quarterback in the offseason, though.
“It doesn't change my mind-set,” Tebow said. “Whatever they want me to do, I'll do it with all my heart.”
