Now, it turns out that they’re way, way, way richer. Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are the “world’s highest-paid celebrity couple,” according to Forbes.com.

The New England Patriots quarterback and his supermodely wife have replaced Beyonce and Jay-Z atop the list with a combined income of $76 million from May 2010-2011. (Beyonce and Jay-Z are clipping coupons with $72M.)

Bundchen, it seems, is doing most of the heavy lifting here — although hubby has that Uggs/UnderArmour/NFL money coming in. She’s on track to become the world’s first billionaire supermodel/entrepreneur and earned $45 million of their combined income.
Pretty sweet, and yet not sweet enough to take away the sting of that playoff loss to the Jets last year.
