Towson basketball ends 41-game losing streak with win over UNC Wilmington

The streak is over.

Towson, which entered Saturday with a Division I-record 41-game losing streak, defeated UNC Wilmington, 66-61.

The victory was the first career win at Towson for Coach Pat Skerry and was the Tigers' first victory since a win at La Salle on Dec. 29, 2010 — 395 days ago.

Post columnist John Feinstein wrote about the Tigers’ efforts to end the streak earlier this season.
