Women’s World Cup: Happy kid lifts his shirt as U.S. scores against Japan

When Alex Morgan scored for the U.S. women’s soccer team in its World Cup final against Japan, thousands of people in the stadium rose and cheered. It was the thing to do. Thousands more around the world jumped up and cheered.

But one kid, bidding to be the Cigar Guy of the World Cup, had to unleash his inner Brandi Chastain, lifting his Washington State T-shirt and flashing the world because, well, just because he could and it seemed like the thing to do at the time.
