Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb will be out for several weeks because of a chest injury he suffered Sunday.

Several ribs were detached from Kolb’s sternum during the Cardinals’ overtime loss to against Buffalo, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports. Kolb, who has been sacked 23 times in the last three games, suffered a sprained sternoclavicular joint, too. He was hurt with just over two minutes left in regulation when two Bills players landed on him as he fell forward. After lying on the field for a few moments, he waved off a cart and gingerly walked off the field.

John Skelton will start in his place against the Minnesota Vikings.
