Andy Reid will stick with Michael Vick as Eagles’ starter

Philadelphia Eagles Coach Andy Reid removed any doubt about who will be the starting quarterback as the team tries to correct its course Monday night against the New Orleans Saints.

It’s Michael Vick.

The Eagles announced this morning that he will not make the switch to rookie Nick Foles. After the Eagles dropped to 3-4 with a loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, even Vick said he could “support” a quarterback change. On Tuesday, though, Donovan McNabb and DeSean Jackson rose to Vick’s defense.

Reid had said he might “tear things up” before the team’s bye week, but, after firing Juan Castillo, is casting his lot with Vick.
