Seahawks, Dolphins interrupted by sprinklers

The sprinklers went off. In the middle of an NFL game.

Sometimes life really is like a commercial.

In the third quarter of the Seattle Seahawks’ game against the Miami Dolphins in Sun Life Stadium on Sunday, the sprinklers suddenly sprang to life, spraying the field and halting the game for a few absurd minutes.

Just how does this happen? Blame a computer, which, for some reason, was working on its Saturday schedule — that’s the Dolphins’ story and they’re sticking to it.

“I never saw that before, not even in high school,” Miami wide receiver Davone Bess said (via the Miami Herald). “It was pretty cool.”
