Tyrann Mathieu, the former LSU defensive back and Heisman Trophy finalist known as the Honey Badger, intends to announce that he will enter the NFL draft.

Multiple reports indicate that Mathieu, 20, will announce his decision today, ESPN reported. Mathieu was dismissed from the team last summer by Coach Les Miles when he failed a drug test and sought treatment for substance-abuse issues with former NBA player John Lucas. Mathieu was arrested last month for possession of marijuana.

Mathieu opted to enroll again at LSU rather than transferring to a school in a lower division, but he’s not playing football.
