Brad Keselowski coached Ray Lewis up a bit for his flag-dropping duties today at the Daytona 500.
“I’m a little nervous,” Lewis, who retired after the Baltimore Ravens won the Super Bowl three weeks ago, said in a news conference. “Brad texted me on the way in. The one rule is don’t drop the flag.”
Lewis, a native Floridian, and Keselowski are friends. Lewis coached Keselowski up for his Sprint Cup-clinching win last year and Keselowski attended a Ravens playoff game.
Elsewhere in the infield, just before the race began, 50 Cent and Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews shared a moment on the infield:
