Let’s have it out right now. Who has the more impressive winning streak: The Miami Heat or the Chicago Blackhawks?

Moments after his game-winner lifted the Heat to its 16th win in a row, LeBron James had hockey on the brain, tweeting:

And getting a reply from Bryan Bickell:

The case against the Heat’s streak? It isn’t even the longest in the NBA; the Clippers won 17 in a row. The case for the Heat? It’s the NBA; everyone wants to beat the defending champion. The case for the Blackhawks? Their record looks like this: 21-0 (with 3 OT). Rather ridiculously impressive, no? The case against? It’s the NHL.

Hockey Hall of Famer Wayne Gretzky told ESPN’s “Waddle & Silvy Show” that he’d like debate this with hoops Hall of Famer Michael Jordan and, well, can someone make this happen???

“If we were sitting here, Michael Jordan would say what the Heat are doing is better than the Blackhawks,” Gretzky said. “And if I was sitting with him, I would tell him what the Blackhawks are doing is better than the Heat.

“We’re all biased to our own sport, and we all loved what we played, and we think the thing we did is the greatest sport in the world. But that’s what sports is all about. People stand around and talk about it. ‘Who’s the best team? Who’s the best player? Who’s the most exciting athletes to watch?’ There’s no true answers, except who becomes the champion of each and every sport. That’s when questions get truly answered.”

So, which streak is more impressive?
