The upstart Crimson, who just days ago won their first-ever NCAA tournament game by beating No. 3 New Mexico in the first round, are currently getting torched by Arizona early in the second half.
And now their star freshman point guard is losing teeth.
Siyani Chambers just chipped his tooth. I’m not sure how … he barely got hit, it looked like. That was weird.

Harvard’s Siyani Chambers lost part of his tooth on that collision. Somebody get that man a dollar. No foul called, though. — Greg Bishop (@nytbishop) March 23, 2013
And Chambers just lost part of a tooth. Can’t make it up. — Myron Medcalf (@MedcalfByESPN) March 23, 2013
Chambers was trying to make a jump-pass along the perimeter when he collided with an Arizona player, sending Chambers and part of his tooth flying.
Don’t worry. The wayward piece was saved.
Ummmmmm I think Siyani Chambers just lost a tooth. Laurent Rivard picked it up off the court.

Just two weeks ago, Saint Mary’s forward Brad Waldow experienced something similar. Except he apparently wanted the tooth stowed away for safe keeping. Probably to tuck beneath his pillow.
Regardless, Chambers will be be fine. Harvard has an entire school filled with very qualified people who can help.
