At times, the first half between Iowa State and Ohio State resembled a wrestling match. (Al Behrman / AP)
A bad, horrible, awful, painful-looking thing happened to the ankle of Iowa State guard Chris Babb in the Cyclones’ game against Ohio State: It bent in a way in which ankles are not meant to bend.
Babb headed to the locker room with medical personnel and got treatment during halftime. He returned to the floor with his team at the start of the second half and CBS reports that he’ll try to play. However, he did not warm up with his teammates and was sitting on the floor as play began.
