Rick Pitino promised his Louisville players that he’d get a tattoo if they won the national championship.
They did and now he will.
Pitino knows just what he’ll get and where he’ll get it.
“I said it … not believing this was going to be a reality but I am going to get it,” Pitino told “CBS This Morning” earlier this week. “I’m a man of my word. I’m going to get it on my left shoulder. It will be a cardinal and it will say 2013 champions.”
The 60-year-old coach explained shortly after his team won the national championship Monday night:
“About 12, 13 games ago, all these guys — if they say hello, they get a tattoo — said, ‘If you win the national championship coach, are you getting a tattoo?’” Pitino said. “And I said, ‘Hell, yes, I’m gettin’ a tattoo.’”
America needs to see this.
If Lebron’s “The Decision” was an @espn special, then “Rick Pitino Gets A Tattoo” better damn well be one too…
